Stains wall incrustations (eg in the pileipellis of some Russulas) and some deuteroplasmas.
USE: stain a fresh sample in a large drop of carbol fuschin for 5 mins. Rinse twice in water and twice in lactoglycerol. Mount in lactoglcerol.
