KOH 3% (10mL)

Potassium Hydroxide 3% in distilled water.

Useful for rehydrating and observing samples for microscopy.

Also useful field test for some species e.g. the cap of Lactarius turpis turns a deep burgundy colour when a drop is applied.

Supplied in a plastic dropper bottle to reduce risk of cloudiness over time which can occur in glass.
